About the Photographer
For the past 20 years my passion has been nature photography. I believe each photographer develops his/her own style of creating photographs according to their own personal view. My view is of the intimate Smokies, finding scenes, animals, and plants in out of the way places. Sharing my work and images with others is a pleasure.
I specialize in photographs of the natural world in the Smoky Mountains National Park, and in the foothills close to the park. My photography and articles have been published in Blue Ridge Country Magazine, used for advertising at Crown Park Resort, covers a billboard for River Ridge Community, etc. I make my home in the mountains of Hartford, Tennessee, backdoor to the beautiful Smoky Mountains National Park. All older work is scanned from my original slides, and all newer work is from my digital files. All work is put into Photoshop just to clean-up and enhance the image.
